2024-25 Nominations & Elections
Nominations are actually open from October 11, 2024, and close at 5:00 p.m. on December 1, 2024. The election for contested positions will be held electronically by secret ballot vote beginning December 10, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. and ending December 18, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. Only members of the Edmonds Education Association may vote for EEA officers or delegates.
Two officer positions (vice president and treasurer) and 27 delegates positions to the 2025 WEA Representative Assembly are now open. The vice president and treasurer are elected for 2-year terms.
The vice president serves on the bargaining team, assists the EEA president, and becomes the president should the office become vacant during the president’s term.
The treasurer oversees the budget and reports regularly to the Representative Council about the financial status of the Association. Both officers receive a small stipend for their work.
WEA-RA is April 14-26, 2025, in Spokane. EEA can elect up to 27 delegates. EEA will pay travel, lodging, a stipend to cover food and incidentals, and release time. We hope our Edmonds delegation is a diverse group representing many schools and roles.
Officers and delegates must be nominated and elected to the position.
